The recent atrocities that took place on January 6th in our nation’s capital were deeply painful and disturbing. IntraSpectrum Counseling strongly condemns these criminal acts of terrorism and mob action fueled by racism, white supremacy, and with pursuit of the dismantling of our democracy. Additionally, the lack of response from law enforcement to adequately serve and protect its citizens was immensely disheartening. This is why IntraSpectrum stands in firm position with our black and brown colleagues, friends and family, and in advocacy of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Incidents such as these attacks were traumatizing for many. At IntraSpectrum, we understand the trauma of these insurgencies and are extremely committed to upholding the freedom of democracy, anti-racist values, and the abolition of oppression altogether.

As healers, we are devoted to remaining a safe haven to our team, a supportive sounding board to our clients, and we stand in solidarity with those who seek equality, peace, and justice.

“In our pursuit to promote healing, authenticity, and respect for the humanity in all of us, we are undeterred by racism and oppression perpetuated by fear.” ~ Jamie Gayle | Founder of IntraSpectrum Counseling
