Queer & Trans Black, Indigenous, People of Color (QTBIPOC) Support Group
• Tuesdays, starting May 9
• 10 sessions, 7pm-8:30pm

This group is designed for those seeking support with a wide range of concerns; some of the most common include:

This support group is for members of the LGBTQ+ community (18+) who identify as Black, Indigenous, and/or as a Person of Color (BIPOC). This Support Group will serve as a safe, therapeutic space developed to address the specific needs and challenges of BIPOC folx within the LGBTQ+ community. Participants will have an outlet to share their unique experiences living within the intersections of multiple marginalized identities, offer support to one another, and connect with others holding similar identities and cultural backgrounds. Members will explore how discriminatory systems in society and their intersecting identities have impacted their mental health and sense of belonging in both the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. Participants will learn from and support one another in cultivating an inclusive community / group environment, building culturally relevant self-care practices and coping skills, and fighting systems of power and oppression. LGBTQ+ Teen Support Group

This support group is for LGBTQ+ teens (ages 14-18), and can be an effective therapy for teenagers seeking support with a wide-range of concerns and/or issues. The group will explore topics related to being an LGBTQ+ teenager in today’s world, and spend time on helping teens improve some aspect of their interpersonal / intrapersonal relationships. The group will provide a safe, affirming, and structured space for LGBTQ+ teens to increase their social support systems and learn ways to positively express self through creative means. The Rainbow Connection: An LGBTQ+ Support Group
This Support Group is for members of the LGBTQ+ community (18+) who are struggling with challenges associated with their mental health and an LGBTQ+ identity. The Group will provide a safe, affirming and structured space for participants to explore patterns in their relationships and work towards increasing healthy connections that can foster growth and mutually-beneficial relationships. The Group will focus on here-and-now sharing, communication / interaction between Group members, and relationships with self. The Group will help one another cope with issues including securing mental health services, rejection from one’s own communities, double stigma, loneliness, bias and discrimination, self-acceptance, and connecting to community resources. Members will receive interpersonal feedback from the Group that they might not typically be able to receive from friends; participants will provide feedback to each other through group processing, self-reflection, and structured led activities.
Gender Journey: Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming (TGNC) Process Group
This Process Group is for members of the LGBTQ+ community (18+) who identify as TGNC and/or who are questioning their gender. This group provides a safe and affirming space for TGNC folx to increase self-awareness, explore patterns in their relationships and work towards increasing healthy connections. This process group is beneficial for members that would like to improve aspects of their social interaction. Group members can expect sessions to focus on the here-and-now: sharing, communication, and interaction between group members. Here, participants can learn more about effective and ineffective interpersonal patterns they might engage in with others, receive and provide interpersonal feedback, and engage in new patterns of relating that lead to fostering mutually beneficial relationships.
Healthy Queer Relationships Process Group
This Process Group is for members of the LGBTQ+ community (18+) who would like to improve some aspect of their relationships with the self and others (including friendships, romantic and sexual relationships, family relationships, etc.). The Group will provide a safe, affirming, and structured space for members to explore patterns in their relationships and work towards increasing healthy connections. Members will learn more about healthy (and unhealthy) patterns they might engage in with others, and how to engage in new patterns of relating that can foster growth and mutually beneficial relationships. The Group will focus on here-and-now sharing, communication, interaction between Group members, and relationship with self. Members will receive interpersonal feedback from the Group that they might not typically be able to receive from friends, and will provide feedback to other members through group processing, self reflection, and structured psychoeducational activities. Please Note: (1) Participants do not need to be in / be interested in a partnered or dating relationship to join the Group, and (2) this is not a Group to join together with a close relation (family member, friend, partner, FWB, etc.).
Celebrating Neurodiversity Support Group
This online / virtual Support Group is for adults (18+) who identify as neurodivergent / neurodiverse (with or without an official diagnosis), and who are looking for a safe & affirming space in which to build community and exist outside neurotypical norms. Members will increase self-understanding and learn new skills related to surviving and thriving in a world designed for neurotypical people. The Group will focus on translating neurotypical communication, building interpersonal and executive functioning skills, self-acceptance, neurodiversity at work and/or school, attachment, intersectionality of identity, determination and meeting of needs, stimming, and internalized ableism. The Group will emphasize inclusivity and mutual respect, and welcomes folx with ADHD, ASD / Autistic folx, sensory processing disorders, dyslexia / dyscalculia / hyperlexia / dysgraphia / dyspraxia / tics, and people who experience symptoms of neurodivergence even without an official diagnosis.
