IntraSpectrum Counseling Therapy Groups provide safe & affirming spaces for clients to share their stories with others, make connections, receive support, learn new skills, and experience a sense of belonging, security and visibility. See  details below & submit an inquiry form to get started. Insurance accepted, Sliding Scale and Reduced Rate eligible, or $60/session OOP. We accept Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Choice, & Cigna PPO plans.

Celebrating Neurodivergence Support Group

• Fridays, April 5 – May 31, 2024
• 8 sessions, 5:30pm – 7pm
• NO meeting May 24

The Celebrating Neurodivergence Support Group is a therapy group for adults (18+) who identify as neurodivergent / neurodiverse, and who are looking for a safe & affirming space in which to build community and exist outside neurotypical norms. Members will increase self-understanding and learn new skills related to surviving and thriving in a world designed for neurotypical people. The Group will focus on translating neurotypical communication, building interpersonal and executive functioning skills, and exploring the ways we cope in a neurotypical world. The Group will emphasize inclusivity and mutual respect, and welcomes folks with ADHD, ASD / Autism, sensory processing disorders, dyslexia / dyscalculia / hyperlexia / dysgraphia / dyspraxia / tics, and those who experience symptoms of neurodivergence even without an official diagnosis. This group may be a good fit for you if you live with some / all of the following concerns: Issues stemming from a Neurodivergent Diagnosis • Anxiety • Depression • Shame • Relationship Struggles • Isolation • Work Issues • Self-Love/Self-Esteem • Stress • Rejection

Transgender & Gender Non-Conforming (TGNC) Process Group

• Sundays, April 7 – June 2, 2024
• 8 sessions, 9-10:30am
• NO meeting May 26

The Transgender & Gender Non-Conforming (TGNC) Process Group is a therapy group for members of the LGBTQ+ community (18+) who identify as TGNC and/or who are questioning their gender. This group provides a safe and affirming space for TGNC folks to increase self-awareness, explore patterns in their relationships and work towards increasing healthy connections. This process group is beneficial for members that would like to build confidence in social interaction by way of increasing self-compassion and validation. Group members can expect sessions to focus on the here-and-now: sharing, communication, and interaction between group members. Here, participants can learn more about effective and ineffective interpersonal patterns they might engage in with others, receive and provide interpersonal feedback, and engage in new patterns of relating that lead to fostering mutually beneficial relationships. This group may be a good fit for you if you live with some / all of the following concerns: Gender Dysphoria • Anxiety • Depression • Shame • Relationship Struggles • Isolation • Work Issues • Self-Love/Self-Esteem • Stress • Rejection

Queer Body Image Support Group

• Saturdays, April 6 – June 1, 2024
• 8 sessions, 4-5:30pm
• NO meeting May 25
• In-Person @Clark Office / Andersonville

The Queer Body Image Support Group is a therapy group for members of the LGBTQ+ community (18+) looking to find support around issues related to one’s own body image and the impact the communities and overall society has on our relationship with our body. This group aims to support members who identified a goal around noticing their self-worth or building their self-esteem as it relates to the relationship they have with their body, such as finding ways to accept and love the body they are in. This group may be a good fit for you if you live with some / all of the following concerns: Body Dysmorphia • Issues stemming from disordered eating • Anxiety • Depression • Shame • Relationship Struggles • Isolation • Work Issues • Self-Love/Self-Esteem • Stress • Rejection

 

 

Queer Men’s Process/Support Group

• Sundays, April 7 – June 2, 2024
• 8 sessions, 11am-12:30pm
• NO meeting May 26
• In-Person @Clark Office / Andersonville

The Queer Men’s Process / Support Group is a therapy group for members of the LGBTQ+ community (18+) who identify as men.
The group adopts an expansive definition of identity, allowing for a diverse representation of male and queer identities. Participants in this group are gay and queer men who have identified an interpersonal goal that they would like to address, such as forming and maintaining friendships, improving their capacity for closeness with others, and fostering healthy relationships. Participants can expect sessions to focus on increasing self-awareness around how their ways of communicating impact more meaningful relationships, through giving and receiving feedback to one another. This group may be a good fit for you if you live with some / all of the following concerns: Anxiety • Depression • Shame • Relationship Struggles • Isolation • Issues stemming from Queer Male Identity • Work Issues • Self-Love/Self-Esteem • Stress • Rejection
