IntraSpectrum Counseling is growing!

IntraSpectrum Counseling is Chicago’s leading psychotherapy practice dedicated to the LGBTQ+ community, and we strive to provide the highest quality mental health care for multicultural, kink, polyamorous, and intersectional issues.

Clinically Licensed Therapists

We are looking to expand our team of licensed psychotherapists who share our commitment to the LGBTQ+ community and multicultural, kink, polyamorous, and intersectional issues. Successful candidates will have a high level of emotional intelligence and demonstrated multicultural competence in working with all facets of the LGBTQ+ community.

Candidates must have an active, unrestricted clinical license in the State of Illinois: APPN, PMHNP, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, or Psychiatrist. Candidates that are not licensed, temporarily licensed, or pending licensure are not eligible.

Candidates with competence working with individuals with significant trauma histories, racialized trauma in/out of the workplace, and/or various disordered eating patterns are highly encouraged to apply.

Candidates with fluency in Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin, and/or Spanish are highly encouraged to apply.

Candidates who are AASECT Certified Sex Therapists or who possess other specializations or certifications (e.g. ATR, CADC, CAS, DBT, EMDR, R-DMT, etc.) are highly encouraged to apply.

Candidates with a National Provider Identifier (NPI) and CAQH number are strongly preferred.

Our Therapists are full-time employees, not independent contractors. They must maintain a full-time weekly average of 23 client sessions based on a 49-week year; must have between 30 – 40 scheduled office hours; and must have availability for work on nights and weekends.
