Kayo uses a collaborative, trauma-informed approach to clinical supervision to support masters-level clinicians in developing professional competencies and confidence. In addition to providing support with clinical services and documentation, clinical supervision with Kayo also includes training and support on self-care and time management, to promote work-life balance and reduce risks around compassion fatigue, moral injury, and burnout. Kayo’s goal in serving as a supervisor is to nurture new clinicians in developing professional identities and resilience that will allow them to confidently navigate the challenges of working within the mental health field and promote professional longevity.
