PHILOSOPHY

I come to counseling with a background in the arts, arts education, and the service industry, which all shape how I approach our sessions. My practice is grounded in a systemic and intersectional feminist perspective. I think it’s essential to explore identity, relationship dynamics, culture, power structures, and inequality in our work together. I’m particularly passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community, people in alternative relationship structures, and those exploring kink and pleasure practices in all forms. As an artist and writer, I also love supporting creative individuals who are navigating the unique challenges of their creative practice. I believe that everyone seeks pleasure and creativity, and tapping into these parts of ourselves is a way to find meaning in our lives.

THERAPY WITH ME

Trust, safety, and mutual respect are are the heart of my work with clients. Once we have that foundation, you’ll find that I’m collaborative, direct, and unabashedly myself. I am engaged and active in our sessions, and excited to learn from you as well. I see it as my job to be a passionate advocate for your autonomy and growth throughout our work together.
