PHILOSOPHY

Sometimes there are big events in our lives that shake our ability to effectively take on the stressors of daily life; sometimes it’s the culmination of those daily stressors that get in the way of us living our lives with meaning and purpose. I have a passion for building working relationships with others that highlight the strengths and skills individuals already have inherently or developed through their lived experiences. In creating a better understanding of who we are within the context of the world we live in and clarifying what is most important to us, we can grow our satisfaction with the lives we live.

THERAPY WITH ME

My therapeutic style is one filled with genuine validation, warmth and compassion. I want to provide guidance in using the therapeutic space as one that promotes your own healing and well-being. Drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through a lens of Motivational Interviewing to shape my approach. I have been trained in using a compassionate approach to Exposure and Response Prevention work with those living with severe anxiety, phobias, and OCD. I pull from a lot of different frameworks to be able to meet your needs in building a life with greater satisfaction, meaning, and purpose.
