Thanks for your interest in working with a therapist at IntraSpectrum, and welcome to our online inquiry form. Your responses to the following questions will help us determine which of our therapists might be a good match for you. We will ask about your identities and experiences in an effort to provide intentionally affirming space for you at IntraSpectrum. With that in mind, please share as much or as little as you feel comfortable.

The inquiry form takes most folks about ten minutes to complete. For security purposes, your answers will not be saved and must be completed in one sitting. Once submitted, if you don’t hear from us within 48 hours please send us an email at to make sure we’ve received your responses.

You are invited to complete this intake over the phone rather than online, if you prefer. Our intake phone number is 773.750.3505, and if we don’t pick up when you call, please leave a message so we can return your call as soon as possible. We look forward to meeting you and supporting you in reaching your therapeutic goals.

    IntraSpectrum literally means “the spectrum within” – IntraSpectrum counselors serve as guides and companions in the process of exploring with our clients their unique internal spectrum of identities, thoughts, feelings and desires.     Presence Mindfulness Group
    Thurs 5:30-6:30pm; Open sit begins 5:15pm
    Meditation is a powerful practice that helps one absorb the full benefits of therapy. Learn to relax, focus, and address your mental health struggles through body-based meditation in a queer-friendly, supportive group setting.
    Each month we will apply body-based meditation techniques to mental health themes such as anxiety, depression, trauma, etc.. Sign up as little or as many months in the series as you'd like.
    Gender Experience Group
    Thurs 6:30-7:45pm; Sat 11am-12:15pm
    Our GEG provides a sense of community in a safe space wherein clients may openly explore their gender identity and express themselves in ways their current lives may not allow. The group is open to people with all gender identities and expressions who are curios about exploring their experience of their gender identity and expression with others.
    LGBTQI-Affirming Men’s Group
    Tues 7-8:15pm
    This process group focuses on learning how to give and receive genuine and constructive feedback. Learn how you are being perceived by others, and learn how to share your perceptions of others to others as well. See how different ways of communicating can promote or hinder meaningful relationships.
