PHILOSOPHY

I am driven to help people manage their mental health by educating clients as they understand the power of awareness. I believe that when people are cognizant of their emotions they develop a deeper sense of self, and those perceptions of self lead to growth in all aspects of life as well as the ability to accomplish goals.

THERAPY WITH ME

Throughout my years working in mental health, I’ve learned the importance of employing multiple therapeutic approaches when working with clients. Just as one cannot build a house with one tool, we must approach mental health by utilizing multiple therapeutic measures to ensure structurally sound, effective treatments. I draw from a range of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Person Centered Therapy. Utilizing and interchanging methods based on the needs of clients allows me to work effectively with clients and their ever changing circumstances. My goal is to provide services that accurately assess clients’ needs in learning how to manage their mental health, while providing the emotional space necessary to process their thoughts and emotions. Doing so allows clients to be an active participant in treatment as they grow and build the narrative of their choosing.
