I believe the therapeutic process is integrative, and can be rooted with cognitive-behavioral theory serving as the therapeutic foundation to incorporate ideas and strategies from other therapeutic models, including relational-cultural, interpersonal, and acceptance.
My clinical work ranges on a spectrum of mental health challenges but is specialized in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders. While committed to promoting the mental health of all people, I purposefully focus on serving the mental health needs of LGBTQIA clients.
My therapeutic style is warm, accepting, and non-judgmental. Clients working with me will be invited and challenged to work collaboratively to construct a growth-promoting therapeutic relationship characterized by combinations of gentleness and firmness, criticality and creativity, and dependence and independence.

During Black History Month, we honor the contributions, triumphs, struggles and experiences of African Americans throughout U.S. history. The theme for 2023 is “Black Resistance”, spotlighting that Black resistance strategies have served as a model for every other social movement in the U.S., thus, their legacy and importance cannot be understated. IntraSpectrum Counseling is proud to commemorate Black History Month and to celebrate and honor all Black Americans, including QTBIPOC individuals across our country.
