PHILOSOPHY

I approach client issues with an open mind and a non-judgmental, emotionally-safe space. Building a solid therapeutic relationship with my clients is the most important foundation in promoting growth. I utilize a combination of therapeutic modalities, but especially integrate mindfulness-based techniques with the reframing of negative thinking patterns.

THERAPY WITH ME

My therapeutic approach is to create a safe and collaborative space for clients to process trauma and reframe negative thinking patterns. I aim to build an environment that is compassionate and client-driven, meaning I will work with patients to help them in developing their own goals throughout the therapeutic process. I am an approachable, conversational therapist with a passion for helping others build and maintain their relationships while guiding them in coping with their individual mental health concerns. Successful therapy consists of development in emotional awareness, emotion regulation, and the self-efficacy to face life’s ongoing challenges.
