Troy is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Staff Therapist, providing individual, couples and group therapy at IntraSpectrum. Troy recognizes therapy as an opportunity for individuals to access holistic wellness by developing inner awareness and empowerment. He approaches therapy from a strengths-based model, using a warm, authentic and compassionate style. His approach lends itself to being both supportive and challenging while addressing each individual’s unique needs. Troy is highly informed by Gestalt, experiential, existential, body-centered and trauma-informed theories.
Troy’s areas of focus include depression, anxiety, bipolar, grief, stress, life transitions, trauma, people of color and the LGBTQ population. He is experienced in working with a wide variety of client populations with a variety of concerns.
Prior to joining IntraSpectrum, Troy provided psychotherapy and case management at Norwegian American Hospital’s Intensive Outpatient program for clients living with chronic/severe mental health diagnoses. He earned his MA in clinical mental health counseling from Adler University and his BA in psychology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
