Dr. Lindsay Ellch is a licensed clinical psychologist at Intraspectrum Counseling who offers individual, couples, and group therapy. She is a collaborative clinician who approaches therapy from a relational framework and integrates cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and dynamic approaches in a supportive and challenging environment. She believes in the healing power of relationship, whether it be in therapy, with oneself, or with others. Lindsay believes that in developing more compassionate, authentic relationships, individuals are able to develop insight, cultivate meaningful change, and live a more fulfilling life.
Lindsay is a trained generalist and possesses specific experience and expertise in working across the spectrum of gender and sexual identities, anxiety disorders, eating and body image concerns, multicultural identity development, relationships, grief and loss, adult children of alcoholics (ACOA), and relational trauma.
Prior to working at Intraspectrum Counseling, Lindsay trained and worked at universities throughout the country including Illinois Tech, Northwestern, Emory and Stanford. She is committed to issues of social justice and advocacy and honors the importance of understanding individuals in their context. Lindsay holds a doctorate in psychology (PsyD) from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago and received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
